Yusuf is pursuing a BS in Computer Science on the Applied Mathematics track at San José State University, with graduation planned for May 2028. He was valedictorian of Lynbrook High School in San Jose in June 2024 and delivered the valedictory address.

He is building IntakeKit, an unpublished personal project for parsing unstructured freight and logistics intake messages. It has no users.
