AU
A timeline for people who ship things. Chronological only. No like counts, no follower counts, no quote-dunks, no checkmarks, no ads. Posts have to carry an artifact — a link, a number, or code — or be marked honestly as a question.
Be clear about what this is: AU is a single-player prototype. Everything you post is stored in this browser only — there is no server, no account, no other users, and nothing you write here is sent anywhere. The other handles in the feed are invented demo personas, not real accounts. Clear your browser data or hit Reset demo and it all goes away.
The whole point
Six things AU refuses to do
Every one of these is enforced in the code on this page, not in a policy document.

Chronological, forever
Newest first. That is the entire ranking function. There is no "For You", no engagement score, no reordering by anything except the clock. Nobody gets to decide what you should have seen.

No vanity metrics
No follower counts, no like counts, no view counts anywhere in the interface. You can like a post — it is saved privately for you, as a bookmark, and shown to nobody. There is no scoreboard to climb.

No quote-posts
You can reply. You cannot lift someone's post onto your own stage to perform at them. The quote-tweet is the pile-on engine, and removing it is the product.

Posts are proof of work
The default post is a ship log: what you built. It must carry an artifact — a link, a number, or a code snippet. If you have no artifact, mark it a question. Posturing has nowhere to sit.

No hierarchy for sale
No blue checks, no tiers, no promoted posts, no ads, no boosted reach. Every account renders identically. Nothing on this page can be bought.

Mute is one click
You control your own feed. Mute an author and they are gone from it immediately, no explanation owed, reversible any time. No appeals process, no management.
