DHAHAB · Work With Me

Two ways to work with me.

I'm Yusuf Gadelrab — a CS undergraduate at San José State University (BS, May 2028), co-author of an ACM SIGCSE TS 2026 poster abstract, and the sole builder of every project on this site. Recruiters: I'm interviewing for Summer 2027 SWE, AI/ML, quant and data-science internships. Founders: I take a small number of solo build engagements — automation, AI tooling, internal tools.

Either way the first step is the same email, and I answer it myself.

01 · For Recruiters

Internship-ready for Summer 2027

Canadian citizen studying at SJSU. Ask me about work authorization directly and I will put my exact status in writing before you spend time on interviews. Open to relocation.

If you are a student reading this rather than hiring: I wrote up the parts that took me longest to work out — landing a SWE internship as an international student, checking whether a posting actually sponsors, building a portfolio that gets interviews, and getting a resume through an ATS.

Target roles: software engineering, AI/ML, fintech and quantitative finance, data science, product/strategy, and developer advocacy. 02 · For Founders & Businesses

A freelance builder, not an agency

Solo end to end: I scope it, build it, and ship it myself, on local models where I can — no per-token bill, no handoff to someone you've never met.

Outside those four: email a brief. If it's a good fit for a solo builder — a script, an internal tool, an automation, a small full-stack build — I'll say so honestly, and say so just as honestly if it isn't.

Three lines is enough. No form, no discovery-call funnel.

03 · How I actually work

Tested, not just shipped

Six pieces of work, each with the number that makes it checkable.

HwyHaul LoadLinkAI intake and AR automation built during a freight-brokerage internship — the AR and billing workflow load, a passing regression suite, entirely on local models.
IBM SkillsBuild sentiment-scoring prototypeAn NLP sentiment pipeline for equities on IBM Watson — ingestion, scoring model and dashboard, built end to end. A learning project, never run in production.
Broker-agnostic trading botDeterministic order IDs, a claimed-before-every-call journal, idempotent reconciliation — 160 tests, no live capital until the promotion gate clears.

FAQ

Common questions

The seven that come up most, answered before you have to ask.

Is he available for a Summer 2027 internship?

Yes — software engineering, AI/ML, fintech and quantitative finance, data science, product/strategy, and developer advocacy. Open to SF, Remote, NYC, Seattle, Austin, Toronto. Work authorization: ask directly and I will confirm my exact status in writing.

Does he do freelance or contract work?

Yes, solo — he scopes, builds and ships it himself. Productised options above; anything else, email a brief and he'll say honestly whether it's a fit.

What's the fastest way to reach him?

yusuf.gadelrab06@gmail.com — put what you need in the first line. LinkedIn works too. Replies to serious inquiries within a couple of days.

Does he do brand partnerships or sponsorships?

Yes — that runs through the media kit, with audience numbers and past collaborations, not through this page.

Does he need visa sponsorship?

Ask him directly. He is a Canadian citizen studying at SJSU, and the accurate answer depends on the role, the start date and the immigration route he is on at the time — so he will confirm his exact current status in writing rather than post a slogan here that might be out of date by the time you read it.

How long does he take to reply?

Within two business days, written by him rather than a template. If it is not a fit he says so in the reply instead of going quiet.

Is this page written by AI?

Drafted with tools, edited and fact-checked by Yusuf. Every number here links back to where it was first published, so it can be checked rather than trusted.
